enVision Math 2.0enVisionmath2.0 6-8 was designed to provide students rich opportunities to build understanding of important new mathematical concepts and develop fluency with key skills necessary for success in algebra, and to gain proficiency with the habits of mind and thinking dispositions of proficient mathematical students. To achieve these goals, the program includes content-focused lessons, 3-Act Mathematical Modeling lessons, and STEM projects.

STeamThis elective is set out for students to explore in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. We will do some more hands on approach learning. The course will be changing constantly to keep up with the current industrial and society goals. Some activities include bridge building, computer science club and small scientific experiment. We will have speakers from UNL, and parents of our students who work in the field of STEM.

AlgebraALGEBRA I is a two-semester course in first year algebra covering such topics as sets; solving equations and inequalities with one variable; properties of numbers; the addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and factoring of monomials and polynomials; fractional equations; graphs on the coordinate plane; solving two equations in two variables (systems of equations); real numbers; square roots; and quadratic equations. This course is intended to provide the student with a background in algebra and a basis for geometry and higher level algebra courses.
